Dymes Youth Club
The love of the young persons for their community brought in 1991 the creation of the Youth Club that aimed at main, the creative exploitation of their free time. Through athletic, cultural, but also social events it offers comprehensive work to the Community and to Cyprus more generally.
Making a historical retrospection we will see that the young persons activated by creating a football team. They also participated in regional championships of various groups like billiard, table tennis, and mini football.
Today the operation of the theatrical and the dancing group that has been created by the first years of the operation of the club, give the occasion of the intellectual and bodily culture of our young persons as well as the possibility of organization of cultural events in our Community presenting the appreciable work that they achieve through these groups.
Also it gives the occasion to young persons through the programs of the European Union to visit various countries of abroad and to acquire important experiences.
As far as the integration of persons with special needs is concerned, by mobilizing the entire community, we entertain almost each year children with special needs from schools and institutions from all over Cyprus. It is offered a daylong hospitality in the Community Park of the village that includes food, artistic program, music, dance and amusement.
Our objective is the continuation of the above work that will give the occasion to our young persons to improve their quality of life in our small and beautiful village, in collaboration and support from all the organized boards of our Community.
